Robot welding at VST Industries

VST Industries offers robotic welding of aluminum, steel and stainless steel.

VST quickly saw the opportunity with robots and invested in the first welding robot in 2004. This has resulted in VST having extensive experience in robot welding, and performing welding within:

Automotive \\ VST Industries, in collaboration with JAI, received an order for the manufacture and welding of approx. 35000 rear wings for BMW’s new s1000 XR motorcycle. JAI casts the rear wing in two half-parts that VST welds together.

Food industry \\ VST has the opportunity to produce containers for the food industry in, among other things, grinding stainless steel.

Offshore and Energy Sector \\ pressure vessels

Today, VST has three big welding robots. If you see as great opportunities in robot welding as we do, contact us today and get more information and knowledge about what VST can offer you.

Robot welding is best suited for serial production, but VST has also done smaller tasks where the customer wanted a uniform continuous aluminum welding. A hand weld would typically include multiple starts / stops.
The most common type of robot welding is done with MAG welding. VST has approvals so that robots can weld in accordance with EN-1090-2 / 3 and EN 15085-2 CL1.
